Seasonal Track Variation
Test tracks change through the winter, which makes durability data from different months hard to compare. I created a tool to quantify track changes over the season.
- Fitted Can-Am and Ski-Doo test vehicles with sensors and data acquisition
- Built nCode KPIs that combine roughness and grip into one value per track section
- Added an automatic flag that uses each channel's mean and RMS to catch sensor drift
- Found a 20% drop in track roughness over the season, and presented findings to engineers across Finland and Canada
